Today´s emotions

Today i heard my parents talking about me.. i was just waking up, so late as usual, and they were telling each other..”tell her come and help us to clean the house”

then my father said something like: why she never sleep at night chinga!.. chinga, by the way is kind of an abusing word in spanish hahahaha

and the thing is, at day time i usually feel.. hmmm.. not gud,.. u know with my brain working, bringing to me some things in my life wich makes me… honestly..depresed, so usually i sleep at day time, most of all now that i have hollidays, and then start to work at night on paintings, videos, sewing , dollz etc… i dont know but is only when the night comes that i feel secure and ready to work with energy and happiness , i know is not gud for health, most of all because of my past brain problems, but i cant help it, what can i do? i just dont feel fine at day time, ..i need the night, maybe i just need a space,…..

It was a pincushion!

since some days back i was obsesed with the idea to make a pincushion because is just anoying being taking out and in every single pin from the original circle.. hmm..thing.. when im sewing, so i decided to make a hand pincushion but i didnt want only a little boring pillow but something that makes sense to me 😀

and as you saw in my last post i started making some sketches of an anatomical heart and i just loved the idea.. so here you have pictures of the process..:D just decide the shape you want, make your own and be happy like me

1. Decide the shape of your pincushion, it can be whatever you want, just let your imagination fly, i decided to make this heart but you do what you like, then make a drawing of it

2. transfer the parts of your drawing to micro paper or any paper u use for patterns and cut it

3. pin your patterns to your fabric, and cut it, here i used felt and satin but you can use any  leftover pieces of fabric you have, the dark blue piece is the base of my pincushion so is only the shape of the heart, no details. i have 2 of these

4. then i sew the pieces of my front part together on one of my base pieces…

5. do embroidery work if you need it

6. previously i attached the elastic to my second base piece, then sew both pieces together and put acrylic filling inside

7. and its done 😀

now insert all your pins and enjoy sewing 🙂 ❤
